We invite you to visit the Torrestrella bullfigting farm in 'The Albujeros' (Medina Sidonia), owned by the prestigious Alvaro Domecq.

Enjoy a nice stroll where you can admire the flora and fauna of the pasture of the farm. In a bullring, learn about the Spanish culture related to the breeding and selection of bullfighting cattle and horse. In this demonstration, our hosts will explain you about the life and management of the bull in its environment, showing stallions with cows and calves, farmers performing the most characteristic tasks of the fieldwork, mares with foals, horses and riders working on high school Spanish dressage. It will be an unforgettable experience as this activity will allow you to discover the secrets of these wonderful animals. 
One of the main goals of  this farm is to reveal how bulls life takes takes place, from from birth until they leave the pasture.

The farm is dedicated to the breeding of fighting bulls since 1954, being our host part of the third generation of the family. The knowledge acquired from the his father. Due to the many years of dedication, they have extensive experience in the sector.

Information about the area

In addition to visiting the farm you can visit the cellars of Alvaro Domecq, where you can learn winemaking, brandies and vinegars of the family, a chance to experience the sherry uniquely. You will also learn one of the most important wineries of Jerez, known as the Bodegas Gonzalez Byass 'Tio Pepe', which began as a small winery that in just 20 years became the biggest exporter of sherry. In the nineteenth century Jerez became the capital of wine in the world.
